Recently, in San Francisco, I went to an appearance featuring the multi-award-winning (Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe) filmmaker and author Oliver Stone.
Mr. Stone discussed his films and there was a meet-n-greet later…
During the show and thereafter, the famed director kinda looked at me (mostly from afar) in a curious way that I never really figured out…
Maybe I resembled someone he knew, possibly even from the Vietnam War in the 1960s (where he was a teacher and later served in the US Army and was wounded twice and earned the Bronze Star for Valor)… Or, maybe, he was thinking, “I could probably cast that guy in something…!!” Oh well, I may never know….
